Game Day at Pour House

The ladies and I have frequented Pour House in Old Town for late night drinks; this past Saturday was the first time we actually ate there.  It was lunch time and all the games were shown on multiple huge flat-screen TVs on the vast wall behind the bar--a true football fanatic's paradise!  Lexy and Gayle ordered some monster Bloody Marys, which had everything but the kitchen sink: a skewer with a cocktail onion, steak chunk, gherkin, pepperjack cube, cherry tomato, along with a shrimp wrapped around a Slim Jim stir stick!  That is some good drinkin' and eatin'!  I ate Lexy's shrimp, which was insanely smoky, earthy, and robust--is that possible?
Gayle ordered the corn pancake scramble: chive corn pancakes, sweet potato black bean hash, scrambled eggs, and chipotle smoked tomato sauce.  Lexy had some wings, but wasn't too impressed by them.  I had the chopped salad [sans bacon]: grilled chicken, romaine, avocado, cucumber, corn, black beans, bleu cheese, and corn vinaigrette.  I am a fan of southwest-style salads, and really liked that there was an absence of tomatoes and a definite presence of sweet corn.  I would definitely order this salad again!
