Argo Tea at Connors Park

This past May, Chicago's very own Argo Tea opened a brand new location at Connors Park, just east of the Sofitel Hotel.  The building is transparent from three sides, which possibly symbolizes their commitment to sustainable business practices.  Out on the patio, you can enjoy your custom tea or light snack/meal while enjoying the tranquility of the garden.  Live performers are a norm and you are even welcome to play their upright Wurlitzer piano outside.  I am so there!

What also makes this particular location of Argo Tea different from the rest is the self-serve Lifeway Frozen Kefir machine.  Current flavors are green tea and original, with chai set to phase in eventually.  Available toppings include various fruit pieces, nuts, and chocolate chips.  The cost is $0.55 per ounce.

Argo has a partnership with Lifeway Foods (which is a Chicago suburb-based company that also owns Starfruit Cafe) and may include the self-serve frozen kefir machine at additional locations.
